The comprehensive 20 week program at Revera College gives you the comprehensive front and back end billing procedures. You will be taught through "real world" examples, which allows you to discover solutions to many issues that plague the billing process, such as billing errors. The training you receive at Revera College prepares you to be effective and excel in your career!

Upon completion of the Medical Billing program at Revera College you will be versed in Medical Terminology, Insurance Methodologies, Insurance Terminology, Claim Submission, Worker's Compensation Insurance, Appeals and Liens, Collections, Microsoft Office Word Processing, and spreadsheet creation and management. Students in this program will be certified in five to seven Medicare Webinars, with subjects including HIPAA, HIPPS, and many others!

The program at Revera College prepares you to receive source documents from your physician, accurately and effectively translate that information into Code, effectively fill out claim forms with a computer program and have enough knowledge to be able to fill out a claim form without a computer program's help. You will be able to submit your claim online (in the fastest and most efficient way), follow up on your claims online, submit claims by mail, follow up on mailed claims, phone and discuss situations with CSRs at Insurance Companies, write effective follow-up and appeal letters and track your claims using specialized spreadsheets. Students in this program learn to navigate in the Worker's Compensation Program, the Medicaid Programs, Medicare Programs, Tricare, FECA and a variety of other Federal and State Programs, as well as private HMO, PPO, and POS plans.
